Version 0.9
This is a patch for the original The World Ends With You for the DS, that had the goal of restoring the original Japanese soundtrack. For whatever reason, a few songs were replaced in the original localisation, and while some of them are excellent, others may be down to personal taste.
As I worked on this the patch grew a little from the original goal (which was pretty straight-forward once I worked it out) and set about adding the better quality versions of songs from the Switch version, or anything else.
Changes
- Replaces the music tracks with the versions from the original Japanese release or tracks from the Switch release, with appropriate loop points where there should be.
- Updates item descriptions to match what the tracks actually are (compared to the DS original) or with best approximations.

Download patch (v0.9), requires upset to patch.
Apply to a US version of the rom. (NTR-AWLE-USA)
Note: This patch has been tested on Desmume and 3DS hardware (in cia form), I cannot confirm it to work in other mediums. The game may also crash during the OP cutscene on the 3DS, but this occurs in the original rom too. Your best option is to run a save from W1D2.

Music Changes
Even tracks that were "unchanged" may still have been updated with better quality versions where possible. Tracks like the OP song and some cutscene themes gave me some trouble, so they may be truly untouched.
