The Grass Is Not Greener On The Other Side

The two of them finally reached the rooftop. The acid rain continued to pour down, stinging less now, though still hissing as it hit the building around them. They looked upon the city in front of them - the fabled other side of the river - the place where things were better.

Did they see wonders?

Did they see answers?

Nay.

They saw what they had always seen.

"Nice view."

"Shut up."
