Forseta

Forseta is the home world of Arin and Dragonians in Witness to Unity. Only a small island is explored during the course of the story, and it is unclear if "Forseta" refers to the island or the planet, as Arin doesn't know the distinction.

Overview

Forseta is a swampy, toxic death planet where practically no sapient life lives on its surface. It is covered in dark clouds, yellow-gold coloured trees, and overrun by the Parasite. Arin comes off as the only intelligent creature to be discovered, largely due to his Unity and meeting Ivan.

The region Arin lives in is not particularly large, with much of it covered in swamp. A large mountain is situated in the southern area, which appears to be avoided by most of the resident species.

Civilisation

The remains of some form of civilisation are scattered around this island, which are often ransacked by creatures — usually Dragonians — that have the capacity for using tools. Arin in particular lives in what Ivan would understand as a small school. Despite the Dragonians' capacity for intelligence, the "reverbing" effect of their Unity makes them more solitary that one would expect, often leading to groups of no more than six living in an area.
